Cookie Policy

Last updated 2026-08-30

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. This page lists every cookie the site can set, so you can check it against what your browser shows.

What we set

whowins-theme

Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Stored in your browser, carries no identifier, never sent anywhere. Strictly a preference.

whowins_admin, moderators only

Keeps a moderator signed in for twelve hours. Never set for ordinary visitors.

What the bot check sets

Before a link is added or a seat is paid for we run Cloudflare Turnstile. It may set a short lived value to confirm the check passed. Turnstile is designed not to profile you across sites and we receive only a pass or fail.

How page views are counted

We count page views with DataFast, a cookieless analytics provider. It sets no cookie, gives you no identifier and collects no personal data: we see totals for a page, not a person.

What we do not do

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No cross site tracking, no data sold or shared for marketing.

How clicks are counted without an account

We recognise a repeat click using a one way hash of your network address, browser and language, not a cookie and not your raw address. The hash cannot be turned back into your address. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Turning them off

Blocking the theme cookie only means the site forgets your theme. Blocking the Turnstile check means the bot check cannot run, so a link cannot be added and a seat cannot be paid for. Questions: info@whowins.lol.
