whowins.lolNot just price. A battle.
Stage 2 · optional

A seat with a clock on it.

While the clock runs the price only goes up, and at zero the seat locks for another two days. You never have to open one.

Where a challenge can be opened

a board opens up after its first 10 seats
No board has its first 10 seats taken yet. Until one does, every seat is taken the plain way, with no clock on it. Filling a board is what opens it up.

Challenges running now

two sides · one seat · a clock
No challenge is running right now. A challenge opens when somebody takes a seat and puts a clock on it. Any seat on any board can be the next one.

How a challenge opens

  1. Take a seat and open a challenge on it. The clock starts and everybody looking at the board can see it. Opening it is part of taking the seat, not a second charge.
  2. While the clock runs the seat can change hands any number of times. Nothing pauses it and nobody can call it early.
  3. A take in the last 10 minutes puts the clock back to the top of that window, so waiting for the final second buys nothing.
  4. At zero the lock starts on whoever is sitting there. When it ends the seat carries on from the amount it closed at.

What it gives you while the clock runs

  • The seat is pinned to the top of its board with the clock running on the row.
  • A card in this list and on the home page, with both sides and the amount on the table.
  • An IN A CHALLENGE badge on the row and on every line the seat puts in the activity feed.
  • Hold it to zero and the listing keeps a WON A CHALLENGE badge with the date and the closing amount.

A seat with no clock on it works exactly the same, minus the lock at the end. A challenge is for people who want a stretch of time nobody can buy into. Both stages, in full.

Take a seat

$5 takes the seat right now. Every dollar you add on top makes it cost that much more for the next person.

The amount you pay becomes the number the next person has to beat. It is not refundable.
